French films showing in HCMC

Two films by famous French director Jacques Demy will be screened in Ho Chi Minh City from June 17-28.

The Les Parapluies de Cherbourg (The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, 1964) will play on June 17 and 21 while Peau dAne (The Donkey Skin, 1970) will be screened on June 24 and 28.

 

Another of the award-winning director films, Les Demoiselles de Rochefort (The Ladies of Rochefort, 1967) was screened last Saturday.

 

Each of the films star renowned French actress Catherine Deneuve and will play at the French Center of Cultural Exchange (IDECAF) at 31 Thai Van Lung St., Dist. 1.
