Theatre produces programmes for TV channels

Lately, well-known Hanoi-based Youth Theatre has been busy making comedy shows and children plays to sell to TV channels, and it is the first theatre in the country to do so.

The first programme Youth Theatre plans to stage for the public as well as sell to TV partners is a series of highly interactive narrative children plays called Your House. "We have turned a meeting room into a spacious and cozy stage familiar to young audiences.

œOur biggest goal is to encourage audiences to become part of the plays and feel theatrical art in a direct and personal way, Youth director, People Artist Le Hung, said about Your House, during which, young audiences will be invited to the stage to interact and talk about their favorite characters.

Youth other plan is to produce comedy shows similiar to the popular VTV3 one titled Weekend Gathering. "We are still choosing customers for Your House. Yet, our comedy programmes have already been ordered by some unit. We are already scheduled to produce one installment every two weeks, said Truong Nhuan, Youth Theatre vice director.
