Cooperation bolstered for tourism in Indochina

The Vietnamese, Lao and Cambodian governments have released a joint communiqué to promote cooperation in tourism advertising that focuses on Indochina's world-renowned cultural heritage sites.

The joint communiqué was released at a tourism development cooperation workshop held in Hoi An Town, on June 28.

The leaders of the localities which are home to the cultural heritages of: Hoi An Town, My Son Sanctuary, former imperial Hue City, the culture space of Gongs in Central Highlands, Angkor of Cambodia, and WatPhou and Luang Prabang of Laos have also agreed to tighten their cooperation in other areas.

The increased efforts by the world cultural heritages is expected to facilitate investment in the building of tourism infrastructure and tourism products based on the principle of preserving the world cultural heritages under a model of sustainable development.
